winding down

school doesn't start for another 2 weeks, but our summer time is winding down. i have a love-hate relationship with this time of year. i am very aware of the need for my children to get in their routine, and have them start getting a "life" again, but i love having them home.
no added school drama, no whining over homework, no this that or the other.
i wish i could freeze this time. 
the kids like hanging out with us. their physical altercations are fairly harmless and they are very funny!
alas though, school will start, homework will begin and they will get older and bigger, and life will again move in super fast forward. until then i will freeze time with pictures and memories of an excellent summer.
